ICAPOIL T800 is a balanced blend of water-emulsifiable natural and synthetic oils developed by ICAP Leather Chem for finishing full-grain nappa leather intended for footwear and for all types of leather where a darkening, natural pull-up effect is desired.
Its formulation provides fill, softness and a clean, swollen grain, enhancing the natural beauty of the leather without weighing it down. After milling, the result is a warm, living surface with a rich, tactile appearance that conveys authenticity.
Recommended application
ICAPOIL T800 can be applied by spray, roller coater or by pad.
To aid product penetration, it is recommended to add small amounts of penetrant (e.g., ICADRIVER 180).
After application, leathers should be allowed to rest overnight and then subjected to milling to achieve the desired softness or by sandblast at 130 °C to intensify the pull-up effect and darkening.
