ICAP Leather Chem continues the development of new products to improve the quality and performance of finishing in the furniture, footwear and leather goods sectors.
ACRIBOND 231: Ready-to-use compound for box and brush-off type shoe upper items.
Developed to increase the coverage*, it has an excellent sealing and masking power without compromising the adhesions, gives the treated leather a smooth surface, dry hand and rather matte appearance. (28% dry content).
* Compared to compound like Acribond 218/C
ACRIBOND F25: Ready-to-use compound for upholstery/leather goods, suitable for foaming application without the addition of foaming additives. The advantage of this compound is the foaming quality and the definition of the grain pattern after printing at temperatures that are not particularly high* e.g. 90°-95°C. (25% dry content).
* Compared to compound like Acribond KM.
ACRIBOND FNL: Ready-to-use compound for basecoat/color-coat that require good transparency and depth*, very soft with a natural feel. (23% dry content).
* Compared to compound like Acribond MF7
IDROTAN 972M: Polycarbonate-based polyurethane dispersion, it forms a medium-rigid film*, ideal as a gloss binder for topcoat for automotive use. (30% dry content).
* Compared to Idrotan 975, also polycarbonate-based PU, that it forms a medium soft film.
ICAFIX 262L: Ready-to-use glossy topcoat very soft* with a slippery but natural handfeel, ideal for nappa/garment and leather goods finishes. If used mixed with other products from our range Icafix, it’s useful for softening the topcoat for upholstery items. (15% dry content).
* Compared to topcoat like Icafix 263.
ICAFILLER PF04: Very soft* polishable preground based on oils and waxes, very suitable in shoe upper/leather goods full-grain leathers. It uniformizes absorption of the leather’s grain surface and it have excellent sealing power. Applicable to both roller-coat and spray. (44% dry content).
