IDROTAN AD 02 is an aliphatic polyether-based polyurethane in water dispersion, developed for applications where high adhesion, softness and flexibility are required, even on particularly complex substrates.
Due to its special formulation, the product finds its main use as an adhesive for water-repellent, greased or difficult-to-finish leathers, improving the anchorage of subsequent finishing layers without stiffening the substrate.
The resulting film is very soft but at the same time tough, a key feature for items that require mechanical strength and tactile comfort.
The polyether base structure also ensures good resistance to low temperatures and excellent stability over time.
IDROTAN AD 02 is also particularly suitable for automotive systems, thanks to its VOC-free formulation, compatible with modern sustainability and emission reduction requirements. The product is also ZDHC registered, confirming the focus on more responsible chemical standards.
It can be applied generally by spray, after dilution with water and/or penetrant, or inserted directly into application mixtures in amounts generally ranging from 20 to 50 g/l.
