ICAPGRADE P4 is an oil-wax based polishable preground formulated to meet the needs of correction and smoothness of natural leathers, with particular effectiveness on full grain, snuffed leathers or leathers with small surface imperfections. Due to its oleo-waxy nature and amphoteric (cationic/anionic) charge, this preground is also suitable for inclusion in cationic blends within traditional production cycles.
Polishable pregrounds are key products in the finishing of leathers intended for uses where surface uniformity and the absence of visual defects are crucial: they allow porosity, small grain marks and irregularities to be leveled, improving the flatness of the substrate and providing an optimal base for subsequent coats of color or topcoat.
