In fact, although the Lainate headquarters was inaugurated in 1995, ICAP\u2019s history began after World War II, specifically in 1945. The company was founded in 1944, during World War II, under the name ACCA (azienda coloranti chimici e affini). In 1947, the company name was changed to ICAP (industria chimica ausiliari per pelli).   <\/p>\n<p>In 1953, following the expansion of its production activities, the company\u2019s name was changed to ICAP Industria Chimica, and since then, the company has played an important role in the production and marketing of high-quality chemical products for various industries.<\/p>\n<h2>The Company Today<\/h2>\n<p>In 1995, following a spin-off of a business unit, ICAP Leather Chem was founded\u2014its name itself signifying a renewed focus on the leather industry market.
